Loving God,

Thank You for all You have blessed us with: shelter, food, friends, faith and so much more. Thank You for the harvest that is being reaped by farmers across this land, and for the processors, distributors and retailers who work seamlessly together to stock the shelves in the shops. Spur us, and others, to add a wee bit extra to our shopping basket, and then leave it at the Foodbank collection point, as our way of fulfilling Your command to the ancient harvesters not to reap to the very edges of fields, or gather the gleanings, but to leave them for those in need. Help us, too, to do our small bit in reaping a greater harvest by sharing the Gospel with those we meet.
